More Christmas Fun

The singing of O Christmas Tree has been a Winders/Weaver tradition for as long as I can remember. Feel free to sing along, I'm sure you'll know the words...




We opened presents with the Weavers on Christmas morning at our house, then headed to Raleigh to visit with the Johnsons. Favorite presents this year included, but not limited to: stocking stuffer dental wisps (everyone got some), cloth book that makes crinkle noises and can go in your mouth (Tyler), lamp for the piano (Leslie), P-Jam pants and comfy slippers (Andrew), and Beggin' Strips (Connor). We had a fabulous Christmas. Best present of all: spending lots of time with Tyler-head, the 3 Wise Uncles (Dan, Marcus, and Michael), and the rest of our family.

Santa Baby

We're very excited for Christmas here.  Thanks to his grandmothers, Tyler has plenty of Christmas outfits.  This is Day 12 of wearing a different Christmas outfit-  we're counting down till Christmas.  Don't worry, we've got enough outfits to make it till then.  These naked Santa pics were taken at the beginning of December before we started the Christmas outfit countdown.

End of Semester Fun

This semester is almost over. Finally. This one has been real hard for me- balancing home, work, and school. But let's not focus on that, let's focus on some recent fun we've had.

We spent Thanksgiving 2009 in Raleigh at Andrew's parents house. I had to work Thanksgiving Day and the day after, but I finished up around 3 and was able to eat my fair share of turkey and dressing.

Off to New Orleans!

Tyler, Nana, and I went to New Orleans, LA in mid-November. We drove, yes, drove. And somehow we made it- all 14 hours (one way) of the trip. I think Tyler must have been the only baby in New Orleans. We would walk down Bourbon street and people would clear the area to make way for the stroller. Then as we'd pass, they'd look in the stroller and exclaim, "There's a baby in there!" (like they'd never seen a baby before). We had a wonderful time. Here's some highlights...
