Tyler-isms

Just catching up on a little Glee and thought I'd post some pics to the blog.

Happy with my Sofie Giraffe

Here's Sam's first attempt at something other than milk, the ever yummy Rice Cereal.

Pretty happy before the rice cereal starts

WAIT!  Flashback to when Tyler was 5 months just trying out new solid foods.  What do you think-  twins?  I think the smile and nose are the same.  Eyes are slightly different, but pretty similar overall.  By the way, Sam just got his first tooth and we noticed the second one peaking through today.

OK, back to Sam-a-lam...
Ummmmm, Daddy I'm not too sure about this
Well, this may not be too bad

OK Mommy, that's pretty terrible-  make it stop!

Below is a picture of Tyler on his way to school the other day.  Actually, today was Miss-Match day at school, but come to think of it, this would have been the perfect outfit.  At least he's smiling on his way out the door and not throwing a major toddler tantrum.

We've been talking a lot about how when Sam gets bigger, he'll be able to play with you (Tyler) and when Sam gets bigger, he'll be able to _____ (fill in the appropriate blank here).  Well, today Tyler told me, "Mommy, when you get littler you can come to school with me."  What a sweet and creative boy.

Hippity Hoppity Easter's on its Way

Happy Easter from the Johnsons!
We enjoyed a nice afternoon with Grandmama and Grandaddy, a visit from the Easter Bunny, a quick Easter Egg hunt, and watching the Masters. The bunny ears I bought from Target for a dollar were money well spent- look at these super cuties.

this is my good side Mommy

Yes, these are the third pair of bunny ears
in case you were keeping track

Last month, we had Sam's baptism at church. It was great having family come to the service and to lunch at our house afterwards. Sam was a good baby and had all the congregation in the palm of his baby hand as the pastor carried him down the aisle. Tyler clung close to Daddy and did his self-soothing hair twirls while we stood up front.

How Long Has it Been?

I've been wrapped up in reading The Hunger Games series for the past two weeks. That, coupled with everyone being sick at one point or the other, a state conference presentation for me (went great- thanks for asking!), and another credentialing test for Andrew (he passed- thanks for asking!), we have not had much time to blog. Today, I received a letter from Nana stating she needed more pictures and more blog posts, so I thought- well our basketball season ended last week and there's no way I'm tuning into the Championship game tonight, so might as well post to the blog. Here are some cute updates:

Sam continues to be super cute and a wonderful sleeper- can you believe it?!?!?
We have a good sleeping baby in the Johnson household!

Grandmama and Grandaddy come over for New Years and take wonderful care of Sam
Cutest picture in the world

What you talkin' 'bout Willis?

This picture must have been taken on the one cold day we had this winter

After peeing on Dad, they both needed a bath

Nana came to stay with us for another month or so when I first started back to work.
Thank you Nana!!! We miss you!

The supply of liquid gold (breast milk) in the freezer.
This is almost at its peak, but not quite.
By then end, our freezer only held milk.
