Trip to Atlanta

Hanging out with Dad at the "pool" the day before Tyler and Mommy left for Atlanta.  Tyler was lathered up in 50 SPF baby sunscreen.  The water was a bit cold-  Tyler (and Mommy) didn't like that very much.

Tyler didn't last very long on our 'pool' adventure.  He decided sleeping on the screened-in-porch was much more enjoyable.

It took Tyler, Connor, and me 9 hours to get to Atlanta.  That's at least 3 hours too long!!!  We made a few pit stops though.  Tyler was a good baby until we hit Spartanburg.  Only 3 hours left to go in our trip!  Any suggestions for crying babies during car rides?  The 'lean the driver's seat back as far as possible and attempt to find baby's mouth with the passy' move did not work very well.

Quick stop at Great-Grandfather Reid's house.  Fed the baby, changed the diaper, visited for a bit, then continued our drive.

Tyler finally makes it to Atlanta and assumes his favorite sleep position.

Tyler, Connor, and Leslie missed Andrew.  He must've missed us too, he called several times a day.  We decided to come back home a day early to see him.

Nana gave Tyler lots of kisses and fed him his bottle at least twice a day.

Uncle Michael babysat Tyler for about 30 minutes and had to change a poppy pants.  He called us to walk him through it.  Close call, Tyler didn't pee on him.

We had a great time, but I think we wore down the Weavers.  It still takes 3 adults and 1 dog to keep up with the baby.  Tyler was worn out too, the car ride home was much more manageable-  he slept most of the time.
